Che fine fanno gli oggetti più comuni che adoperiamo quando questi arrivano alla fine del loro corso di utilità? 

                                                                                                                                                                                 

Essi possono essere gestiti in maniera produttiva, attraverso il riciclo che li trasforma in nuova  materia prima che potrà essere riutilizzata per dare vita a nuovi manufatti, oppure smaltiti nelle discariche. 

   

Alcuni oggetti gettati in maniera incosciente dall’ uomo raggiungono attraverso fiumi, canali o scarichi il mare che poi ce li restituisce gettandoli sulla riva. Molti altri invece l’uomo se li lascia alle spalle lungo la riva del mare  creando un vero è proprio strato multicolore di spazzatura.

La plastica è di gran lunga la categoria di rifiuto più presente sulle spiagge con varie forme e colori ma non mancano altri residui di ogni genere e dimensioni.

Seguendo questa scia nel 2014 ho camminato per circa 33 km lungo il litorale domitio su un pezzo di spiaggia tra mondragone e licola cercando di documentare questi “ritrovamenti” che sono significativi del grado di incoscienza dell’uomo che poco si preoccupa di custodire il luogo che lo ospita con conseguenze disastrose per l’ambiente marino e per se stesso. In questa serie è singolare vedere come questi oggetti siano connessi tra di loro.

 

 

 

What happens to the most common objects that we use when they reach the end of their course of usefulness?

They can be managed in a productive, through the recycling that turns them into new raw material that can be reused to create new products, or disposed of in landfills.

​

Some objects recklessly thrown from 'man reached through rivers, canals or drains the sea which then returns them there throwing them on the shore. Many others the man leaves them behind along the seashore is just creating a true multi-layer of garbage.

​

Plastic is by far the largest category of waste present on the beaches with various shapes and colors but there are other residues of all kinds and sizes.

​

By following this path in 2014 I walked for about 33 km along the coast Domitian on a piece of beach between mondragone and licola trying to document these "findings" that are significant to the degree of human unconsciousness little bother to guard the place that hosts with disastrous consequences for the marine environment and for himself. In this series is singular see how these objects are connected between them.
